ON BOARD SERVICES
The electrical current on board is 220 volts.
Enclosed spaces are non-smoking.
Passengers can smoke on the open-air decks
of the boat.
The control room is equipped with the most
modern navigation instruments:
GPS, UHF and VHF radio,
vertical and horizontal sounders,
telephone by satellite.
The Amazon Dream complies with
all of the norms required by
the Brazilian National Navy .

AN ETHICAL AND ECOLOGICAL
COMMITMENT
The programs of the Amazon Dream were
conceived in line with an ecological
and ethical charter whose objectives include
the preservation of the sites visited and
a respect for the communities that welcome us.
Authorizations to go into the Tapajoara
reserve and the Tapajos National Park
are issued by the Brazilian Institute
of Environmental Protection. The unique
character of these cruises is also due to
privileged relationships established over
several years with the leaders of different
villages. To give back to the Amazon a
little of what it offers to travelers, the
Amazonian Navigation Company
contributes financially to support
local projects.
